Local Restaurants & Places to Eat around Fareham

Indian Cottage

184 West St, Fareham PO16 0EQ, UK – 01329 236009

I enjoyed the meal but the staff were either very good or didn't make u that welcome unusual for an Indian. Cleanliness of menu was not so good which usually would put me off immediately however as we'd been before took it as an oversight. Could have been down to staff on the night.

Freshly cooked using good ingredients and less oil than most Indian restaurants. Always busy, with a great volume of takeaway collections, and at peak time a short wait for the table if you haven't booked. No worries though as the bar is well stocked and he staff are friendly enough. In my opinion the best Indian in Fareham, try it!

Antonio's

20 West St, Fareham PO16 0LG, UK – 01329 235533

Antonio's is a great restaurant, located right by the bus station at the far end of East Street in Fareham. The food is cooked to perfection and tastes just like if you were in Spain! The 4 dishes for £9.99 Monday to Saturday between 12-2pm, for lunchtime is a great offer and one to be advised on! Front of house are very friendly and all staff were caring and considerate to our needs. We will definitely be returning, thanks so much!

Just had a lovely lunch. The waiter was fabulous, very accommodating and funny. Will definitely be going back.

Beefeater Oast & Squire

Peak Lane, The Avenue, Fareham PO14 3AA, UK – 01329 844377

Went for an Christmas meal on Christmas eve with about 10 people. We booked a few months in advance but were not asked for our orders, so I was a little wary whether we would have much option but there was plenty to chose from and even the night before Christmas they had everything on the menu with different options for those who don't want a traditional Christmas dinner plus the regular menu also. Atmosphere was great and place was well decorated. Food was pretty good, with a great big table for us all to sit comfortably around. It was a great night and had great food so would definitely recommend for a Christmas dinner.

Christmas party held here for work and it is always great. We have a lunchtime do and service is prompt, the food is warm and staff friendly. The portion sizes are good too as sometimes set menus arent very generous. Highly recommend as a Christmas venue. I've also been for dinner and at lunchtime. They cater well for children
