Recently met with a Personal Banking Manager. She explained our options clearly and professionally and we came away feeling very satisfied with the help we were given. This was another example of the excellent service given at this branch.

Fairly average size branch, but i find the staff very miserable and unhelpful, making my visits quite frustrating rather than pleasurable like they used to be in earlier times there, when the staff were of a much more friendlier and helpful nature. The self service machine outside always seems to of run out of envelopes to deposit cash and cheques at the weekends also, just when i need it to operate most!

Dental Surgeries

Kings Road Dental Surgery

8 King's Rd, Fareham PO16 0NX, UK – 01329 287145

First visit to this dentist today, and what a excellent experience from the happy and helpful receptionist, through to seeing the dentist himself (Mr. Cooke) Sadist (maybe), but I'm actually looking forward to my next visit in August :) 5* across the board!

West Street Dental Clinic

A/215 West St, Fareham PO16 0ET, UK – 01329 232380

Brilliant with nervous patients. Ok, so I have issues with anxiety at the best of times, couple that with a phobia of dentists and of needles, and I am never going to be the best patient. Originally, I saw Harry, who was amazing, but today, I saw a lady, didn't catch her name due to the stress of the situation, but will be seeing her from now on. I had a tooth extraction. She and the nurse with her were amazing, absolutely amazing. They were both gentle and kind, the dentist took her time, I never felt hurried or stressed. It was the best dental experience I have had. I will never be keen on treatment, but I reckon I could sit through anything with the lovely team at West Street Dental Clinic.

Spotlessly clean waiting room and treatment room, the reception staff are professional and courteous, and there's rarely a wait beyond your appointment time. My dentist always explains everything, the quality of work is (as far as I can tell) top notch, and he's a thoroughly nice chap too. Been with them for around 6 years and never had a bad experience.

Manor Dental Surgery

270 Hunts Pond Rd, Park Gate, Fareham PO14 4PF, UK – 01489 578917

I had a 1800hrs appointment this evening, to which i arrived 10 minutes early. I was greeted with a smile by the receptionist (Becky) and waited for 5 minutes before i was greeted by a very polite and reassuring dentist and assistant. He talked me through the procedure that was to follow, and when i was happy he continued. All in all, a very pleasent and satisfactory experience. Thankyou and Merry Christmas

The Highlands Practice

It has taken me nearly two years to get round to writing and I am prompted to write a review now after a chance viewing of the web site. Thank you Dr. Hobbis for the kind and gentle way you always treated my mum especially in her final weeks. Thank you to Dr. Rattray for coming out on my mother's final day, always a difficult time for relatives but handled kindly thank you. To Dr. Griffiths I thank you for the gentle way you treated me on the Monday of my mother's last week on this earth. The nurses who came in that week and the night duty doctor who called around midnight I thank you all for being there. And now as time goes by and my husband and I have needed your help with various matters this past two years it is your expertise that has ensured that we continue to enjoy life. Managed properly I have never found a problem getting an appointment although getting to know the system took me a while (warm smile at myself)! You are a busy and probably overworked practice who deserve our thanks and compliments.

Find Recycling Centres

Mobile Metals

Mike came out to us and helped clear my late fathers garage in Fareham, he was very friendly and worked hard to clear the pile, he then came straight back for the second load and also helped shift a few bits we were keeping which was nice, overall a good experience.

Excellent service, good communication and were very friendly and efficient when they turned up, highly recommend.

Adams Waste

17 Netley Rd, Titchfield Common, Fareham PO14 4PE, UK – 01489 581736

Segensworth Recycling centre

Barnes Wallis Rd, Fareham PO15 5TT, UK – 01489 564850

Always very courteous staff and very organised. If you plan the times you go then no queues. Sometimes buy the odd bargain in their shop. Good to see things there as far as possible are recycled as good for the environment.

Always using this centre very organised.

Give and get free stuff. Here you will find lots of items that people are willing to give away, for FREE! This is instead of taking them to a local landfill site. The aim of this site is to reduce the amount of waste that goes to landfill (20.9 million tonnes of it last year in the UK) and recycling is great news for the environment.
We all know that we need to recycle more - and this is a great way of doing it.

Local Restaurants & Places to Eat around Fareham

5, Market Quay, Fareham PO16 0BX, UK – 01329 829680

The food came out pretty quickly and was hot. The staff were helpful and friendly and were very apologetic when they had forgotten to bring out a side that was missing and then made sure it was brought out to us asap. Little things like this make the difference.

Quick service and succulent food. Small premises but it certainly has a cosy vibe with charm

Beefeater Oast & Squire

Peak Lane, The Avenue, Fareham PO14 3AA, UK – 01329 844377

Good service and decent food. My one main gripe it's the menu. My eye sight is not that bad (i can pass an eye test without specs) but i could not read the menu. The colour scheme and font used need to be changed.

Nice place, friendly staff, some decent food and generally a pretty good place to eat. Bit more expensive than the nearby Harvester, but not by much now that Harvester have changed their menu and got rid of their 'early bird' offers. Started going there more regularly now - they got hooks of my email address somehow and seem to regularly send out money off vouchers which make the visits more affordable for a family on a budget...

ASK Italian

10 West St, Fareham PO16 0BH, UK – 01329 596720

Another lovely evening! Food is always delicious with lots of vegan and gluten-free options. Looking forward to the new Spring menu!

Was able to reserve a table online which was very useful. Lovely lunch. Croquets to start really tasty and crispy even though they did look a little over done. Pasta was divine very generous portion. Pistachio cake was delicious. I enjoyed the food, service was also prompt and friendly. Went with my baby and was welcomed. Baby change facilities acceptable. I will likely return.
